Doing nothing gives you a deepened experience of presence, and in the present moment, fear can’t phase you, move you, or break you. Your thoughts will try to convince you that doing nothing is scary—at the deepest levels because of the ego’s fear of death and the uncertainty. But isn’t it true that nothing is certain? Can you say with certainty that anything you think is certain is truly certain?
You may say, but the sun will rise again tomorrow. But you can’t be certain that you’ll be there to witness it.
Doing nothing will allow you to be in the awareness of uncertainty: your truth. Life is uncertain because it is also infinite. You can find fear in that, or liberation. Infinite means every single possibility – uncertainty of success, uncertainty of failure.
