The morning that you have can influence the rest of your day, can’t it? Whether you have a routine or not is not as important as the connection you create when you first arise. Do you come into your body thinking that you’re limited, or do you put your attention on possibilities and appreciation? Do you think of all the things you don’t have or have to do, or do you look forward to the day? If you don’t, see if you can try and use the appreciation of being alive to bring yourself into a space that is loving and free.

TIP 1: Appreciate the morning, no matter what it feels like. Find appreciation for everything when you first wake up.

TIP 2: The second thing you may want to try in the morning is to make your bed, it will make you feel as though you’ve accomplished something, and it will be tidy. See if you can leave your room clean for the day. This is a reflection of creating order in your mind.

TIP 3: Feel the possibilities rather than thinking you know what the day will present. Rather than placing any expectations on life, be open. Be open to what will move you throughout your day, and see if you can follow the simple pleasures with appreciation. Smile and feel gratitude for everything. The more open you are to what the day brings, and the more appreciation you have, the more you will feel that everything in your life is going as it is meant to be, the more you’ll feel happy, even if there’s nothing you can think of to be happy about.

Morning is absolutely my favorite time of day. If I wake up, look at the clock and see its still middle of the night, I am disappointed if I have to go back to sleep. Likewise, if I wake and it’s already after 6:00 I’m disappointed because I feel as though I’ve missed something.
Mornings mean new opportunities to me. A time to make a plan or even a challenge for the day (life comes complete with challenges, hardly a need to seek more!)
Such little things make me the most happy.

It’s in the little things, isn’t it? Whatever works for you is great. It is interesting to observe that you feel as though you’ll miss something in the morning. That meaning you’ve placed on morning and opportunity may be exactly why you’ll feel that you might miss something, but isn’t the truth that opportunity abounds all the time?? Don’t get me wrong, there is something special in the morning that I believe can be very powerful, but just something to ponder…
